Keynotes, Workshops and Seminars in Salt Lake City

Financial wellness keynote speaker in Salt Lake City

The Wasatch Front is one of the fastest-growing job markets in the West, and homeownership is slipping out of reach for most of the people filling those jobs. I teach Utah employers’ people how to handle money in a market that moved faster than they did.

Anyone can get good with money

What money stress looks like in Salt Lake City

Utah added more than 44,000 people last year, and the Wasatch Front absorbed most of them. Silicon Slopes, Intermountain Health, the universities and Hill Air Force Base keep hiring, and the housing market has not kept up. A typical Salt Lake City home is now about $580,000, and the state’s own researchers report that homeownership is out of reach for roughly 91 percent of Utah renters, with a median-priced home requiring about $147,000 in household income. Utah households are young, growing and famously good savers, and even they are feeling it.
That is the room I walk into in Salt Lake City. Young professionals in tech and healthcare, credit union members who trusted the numbers a decade ago, and the employers trying to keep good people in a market that keeps getting harder. I teach them how money works in their numbers, and I give the employer a way to make the benefits package part of the plan.

Hi, I’m Hillary

I have spent 16 years teaching people how money works. Fourteen of those were inside banking and mortgage lending, where I watched smart, hardworking people sign for things they did not understand because nobody had ever explained it in plain language. I started Financial Footwork in 2016 to fix that, first with professional sports organizations, then with the employers, associations and universities who saw what it did for a room.
Since then I have worked with 15+ professional sports organizations and 50+ employers, associations and universities, and I was named a Top 50 Financial Speaker in 2022 and 2023. My book, Train Your Money, is the method I teach from the stage.
Here is what that means for you. I am not a financial advisor looking for clients, and I do not pitch a product or collect your employees’ information from the stage. I teach. Your people leave knowing what to do with their next paycheck, and you get a room that finally understands why the benefits matter.
Hillary Seiler, NFL Money Coach and founder of Financial Footwork.
