The problem

Money stress is an HR problem, whether or not it is in your job description.

59%

of employees say they are stressed about their finances

PwC, 2026

5 hrs

a week of work time goes to personal money issues

TIAA Institute and GFLEC, 2026

80%

of employers say financial stress is hurting productivity

Morgan Stanley, 2026

You built a good benefits package. Participation is still flat. The 401(k) match goes unclaimed, the EAP is a mystery, and open enrollment is something people click through as fast as they can.

The problem is not your benefits. Most people were never taught how money works, so every benefit feels like one more decision they are not ready to make. Teach them the basics first and the benefits start to make sense.

Anyone can get good with money
Hillary Seiler, financial wellness speaker and author of Train Your Money
Meet Hillary

Hi, I'm Hillary Seiler. And I've seen what your employees sign without understanding it.

I have spent 16+ years teaching people how money works. Fourteen of those were inside banking and mortgage lending, where I watched smart, hardworking people sign for things they did not understand because nobody had ever explained it in plain language. I started Financial Footwork in 2016 to fix that, first with professional sports organizations, then with the employers, associations and universities who saw what it did for a room. My book, Train Your Money, is the method I teach from the stage.

I teach. I don't sell.

I am not a financial advisor looking for clients, and I do not pitch a product or collect your employees' information from the stage. Your people leave knowing what to do with their next paycheck, and your benefits team gets a room that finally understands why the match matters.

Built around your benefits

Employees who understand their own numbers use their benefits.

Before I walk on stage I learn your benefits. Then I build them into the session, so when I talk about saving, your match is the example, and when I talk about medical bills, your HSA is the answer. Your benefits become part of a plan.

FAQ

Questions HR and benefits teams ask.

Meeting Planners page →

What makes Hillary different from other financial wellness speakers?

Hillary spent 14 years inside banking and mortgage lending before she ever stepped on a stage, so she teaches how money actually works, in plain language, for a room of real people with real paychecks. She does not sell financial products, she does not collect your employees' information, and she builds your benefits into the session so the room leaves knowing how to use them.

Which topics work best for an employee audience?

Paycheck planning, saving, credit and debt, and retirement basics are the four every employer asks for. Any of them works as a keynote, a workshop, or a seminar series. The Keynotes and Workshops pages have the full lineup.

Can the session be tied to our specific benefits?

Yes, and it should be. After you book, Hillary asks for your benefits summary and any open enrollment materials, then uses your 401(k) match, HSA, EAP and other benefits by name during the session.

Will Hillary try to sell anything to our employees?

No. Hillary is not a financial advisor and does not represent any financial product. Attendees receive the Starter Playbook and worksheets at no extra cost, and nobody is asked for their financial information.

What do we get after the event?

Every attendee gets the Starter Playbook and worksheets. Your team gets a one-page Event Recap with participation numbers, the themes from the room, and suggested next steps. Hillary never reports individual financial information.

How far ahead should we book an open enrollment or conference speaker?

Conference dates go six to twelve months out. Open enrollment and Financial Literacy Month sessions should be booked at least three months ahead. Send your date through the booking form and our team will confirm availability within one business day.
